He was 77. No services will be conducted. Mr. Eichholz was born March 2, 1905, in Glens Ferry, Idaho. Before coming to Alaska in the early 1950s he worked on road construction in Idaho and Montana. At one time he mined gold at Hope and Gold Creek. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge No. 38, A.F. and A.M. in Hamilton, Mont., and was also a member of the Royal Arch Chapter in Hamilton. In addition to his wife, Gertrude, he leaves three sons, Richard of Hartford, Conn., and George and Eddie of Anchorage; two brothers, Fred of Merced, Calif., and Arthur of Nampa, Idaho; and four sisters, Emma Hall of Lewistown, Idaho, Freida Hall of Glens Ferry, Idaho, and Nellie Koontz and Margaret Estes of Baker, Ore. The family suggests memorials to the Shriners Children’s Hospital. Arrangements are by Kehl’s Forest Lawn Mortuary.
