  NUSHAGAK. A p o on Bristol Bay at the mouth of the Nushagak river, 850 miles w
of Sitka. Juneau is the nearest banking point. Contains a salmon cannery and is
a station, for whalers of the Behring Sea. Gold has been found along the rivers
and on the beach. Pop, 324.
