Nov 29-Joseph Fahey, one of the most popular young men on George's Creek, died last night at 7 o'clock, at his home here, after an illness of about two months. The deceased was about 28 years old and was engaged as chief clerk to his father, Superintendent Michael Fahey, of the Piedmont and George's Creek Coal Co., and was well and favorably known throughout the entire county. He is survived by his father, before-mentioned, two brothers, Patrick and John, and five sisters as follows: Misses Mamie, Frances, Beatrice, Edna and Annie, the latter a sister in a religious order. Their mother died some years ago. The deceased was a prominent member of the Knights of Columbus, also of Westernport Aerie, No. 707 F.O.E."
