"The Piedmont Herald" Piedmont, West Virginia, Wed 11 Dec 1974: " 
Mrs. Elizabeth (Betty) Gilmore, 46, of Horse Rock, died Sunday in Sacred Heart 
Hospital, Cumberland, MD. Born in Westernport, she was the daughter of the 
late Henry A. and Carrie Moran Guy.  She was preceded in death in 1952 by her 
husband, Timothy Gilmore. She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church and 
was secretary of the Maryland Bureau of Mines, Westernport. Surviving are one 
daughter, Timmie Ann Gilmore, at home and one sister, Mrs. Mildred Loughery, 
Bel Aire. Friends will be received in the Boal Funeral Home today from 2 to 4 
and 7 to 9.  The Rosary will be recited tonight at 7:30. Mass of the Christian 
Burial will be celebrated tomorrow, Thursday at 9:30 a.m. in St. Peter's Church.  
Burial will be in Philos Cemetery."
