Md., Funeral services for Mrs. Sylvester Green, {nee Eliza Canning Bradley} former resident of Barton who died Monday at Lonaconing were conducted yesterday afternoon by Rev. O. S. Edwards, pastor of the Presbyterian church. Burial was in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Moscow. Pallbearers were Fred Frenzel, Edward Bradley, Charles Miller, Joseph Miller, Harry Kyle, Clarence Kyle, Ernest Kyle and James Bradley, Jr. Flower carriers were Francis Miller and Joseph Bradley, Jr. The church choir sang." Evening Times, Cumberland, Maryland, Tue 14 Jan 1941: "Barton, Md., Mrs. Eliza C. Green, {nee Bradley} 58, died yesterday afternoon at her home in Detmold, suburb of Lonaconing. she had been ill since Friday. Her husband, Sylvester Green, was in Memorial Hospital, Cumberland, for an operation, when summoned home, arriving ten minutes before her death. Mrs. Green was a member of the Barton Presbyterian Church. She was a daughter of Mrs. Martha Bradley. Surviving besides her husband and mother are three daughters, Mrs. Hattie Grosser, Mrs. Thelma Crowe and Mr. James Myers, and a son, Sylvester, all of Lonaconing. She was a sister of Mrs. Sinclair Miller, Mrs. Harrison Kyle, Mrs. Floyd Russell and John, Dewey, James and Joseph Bradley, all of Barton."
