The News, Cumberland, Maryland, Sat 19 Dec 1970: 
"PIEDMONT - A funeral service for Mrs. Ethel {nee Parris} LaRue, 
65, of 111 Hampshire Street, who died Thursday at the Hopemont 
Rehabilitation Center, will be conducted on Monday at 1 p.m. at 
the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport. Rev. Sumner Sawyers, pastor 
of Trinity United Methodist Church, will officiate and interment 
will be in the Philos Cemetery. Friends will be received today 
and tomorrow from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral 
home."
