Mrs. Teresa LaRue, 97, died at 7:15 o’clock last night at the home of her 
daughter, Mrs. Joseph McGreevy, 23 Jones Street, Piedmont, where she had resided 
for the past nine years.
The body is at the Fredlock Funeral home, Piedmont, where the family will 
receive friends tonight, Thursday, from 7 until 9 o’clock and tomorrow from 2 
until 4 and from 7 until 9 p.m.  The rosary will be recited at the funeral home 
tomorrow at 8:15 p.m. 
A requiem high mass will be celebrated Saturday morning in St. Peter’s Catholic 
church, Westernport, after which interment will take place in Philos cemetery, 
Westernport.
A native of Harpers Ferry, Mrs. LaRue was born Sept. 14, 1865.  Her husband, 
James LaRue, died in Nov. 1939.
In addition to Mrs. McGreevy, Mrs. LaRue is survived by another daughter, Mrs. 
Paul Kooken, of Westernport; five sons, William LaRue, of Piedmont; Raymond 
LaRue, of Hamilton, Ohio; Louis LaRue, of Beryl; Clyde LaRue, of Keyser, and 
Richard laRue, of Westernport.  Also surviving are 21 grandchildren, 40 great 
grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren.
