"Evening Times" Cumberland, Maryland, Tue 7 Jul 1914: 
"Death of Mrs. Ricker-Lonaconing, Md., June 7-(Special) Mrs. Frank Ricker, 49 years old, a 
well known resident of this city, died late last night at her home on Big Vein Hill. She is 
survived by her husband, and nine children, all grown. Mrs. Ricker was a Miss Mills prior 
to her marriage, and was a native of Lonaconing. Her husband, a well known miner, who has 
been in ill health for several years, recently recovered from a severe illness. The funeral 
arrangements have not been made."
