Daily Banner-January 27,1942
William Edward Neal of Salem, age 54 years 11 months 18 days died this morning.
He had suffered a stroke of paralysis in December.
He was born and raised in Drawbridge and was the son of the late Isaac M and 
Laura Christopher Neal.He engaged in farming his entire life.
Survived by four sisters:Mrs Lula Brower of Cambridge,Mrs Nina Jackson of 
Cambridge,Mrs Myrtle Neal of Cambridge,Mrs W.H Layton of Salem.Also several 
neices and nephews.
Funeral held at the LeCompte Funeral Home with T.C Mulligan officicating.
Interment in the family cemetery at Lewis Wharf.
