Peters to Perpetua Wetsel Land Record JLJ-3 Pages 543-544 Frederick County Courthouse Frederick County, Maryland At the request of Perpetua Wetsel the following Deed is received for record and recorded March 6th 1893 at 1:15 o’clock PM. Test: John L. Jondan, Clerk This Deed made this twenty third day of June in the year eighteen hundred and eighty eight by us John A. Peters and Mary H. Peters his wife of Frederick County in the State of Maryland. Witnesseth that in consideration of four hundred and eighty five dollars the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged we the said John A. Peters and Mary H. Peters his wife do grant and convey unto Perpetua Wetsel of County and State aforesaid her heirs and assigns in fee simple all that piece of or parcel of land situate and being in Frederick County in the State of Maryland at the of the Mountain on the road leading from Mt St Marys’ College to the Waynesboro turnpike road adjoining land of Peter Sebold and contained within the following meters and courses. Beginning for the same at a point on a flat rock at the end of two perches on the first line of the above named Peter Sebold’s Lot and running thence South 15 degrees West 9 perches to a planted stone thence South 80 degrees West 8 perches to a planted stone thence North 7 ½ degrees East 7 perches to a planted stone thence North 75 ½ degrees East 12 perches to the beginning containing one half acre of ground more or less, together with all the building and improvements thereon erected or being and all the appurtenances to the same belonging the said piece of land hereby granted being the same conveyed to the John A. Peters by Lucinda Peters and Josephine Peters by Deed dated the 4th day of October 1872 and recorded in Liber CM No, 9 Folio 329 one of the Land Records of Frederick County, and we do further hereby relinquish and quit claim unto the said Perpetua Wetsel all our right title interest and estate in and to all that piece or parcel of land situate between the above described premises and the Mountain Road and described as follows to wit: Beginning for the same at a point on a flat rock at the end of two perches on the first line of Peter Sebold’s lot and running thence with the first line of the above described premises corrected bearing being South 19 ¾ degrees West 9 6/10 perches thence South 88 degrees East 3 68/100 perches to a stone planted at the corner of the pailing fence on the road side thence South 6 ¾ degrees East 9 4/10 perches to a point on the road side near the culvert thence South 81 ¾ degrees West 1 6/10 perches to the beginning. The said Perpetua Wetsel to have possession of the hereby granted premises on the first day of April 1889. Witness our hands and seals John A. Peters Mary H.
