This certifies that the official records of which I am the Lawful custodian on 
file in this office show that rhoads,William P. joined for duty and was 
enrolled as a CORPORAL of COMPANY E., 40th Regiment, Indiana Volunteers at 
FRANKFORT INDIANA on the 14th day of December 1861, for the term of THREE 
years by LIEUTENANT FINNEY Mustering Officer.
