These electronic pages may NOT be reproduced in any format for profit or presentation by other organizations. ************************************************************************ Richard Fenwick Signed: April 1, 1714 Proved: April 26, 1714 The Last Will of Richard Fenwick In the Name of God Amen I Richard Fenwick, being in health of body & sound of mind thanks be to God for ye same, & knowing ye uncertainty of this life doo make this my last Will & Testament, in manner & form following first I commend my soule to god hoping by ye merits of Christ I am to Recieve pardon of all my sins, and my body to ye earth to be buried in such Christian, manner; asto my Executors hereafter named, shall think fitt. & as touching such worldly Estate, as ye Lord in mercy hath Sent me, my will & meaning is ye same shall be imployed & bestowed, as hereafter by this my will is Expressed & first I doo declare & appoint this my last will and testament. Item I give & bequeath my whole Estate to, my five sons~Richard Fenwick Cuthbert Fenwick, John Fenwick Enoch Fenwick & Ignatius Fenwick. And their heirs to be Equally shared & divided between them both Real & personal. & that , those Sons I had by my first wife & those I had By my second wife, to have one to ye other, as tho they had been all of one Mother & if Enoch or Ignatius happen to die before they attain to ye age of one and twenty years, that their part be equally divided, between ye survivors; & in case, they do not agree, among themselves on ye shareing of ye Lands & other things, if my brother John Fenwick, be alive my will is that he shall share ye same between them, I make my five afore named Sons, my heirs & Executors, as witness my hand & Seale, the first day of April in the year of our Lord god 1714~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Richard Fenwick (((seal))) Sealed & sind in the presence of us Joseph Alvey George.
