STOMBAUGH was born Aug 1799 in Virginia, possibly daughter of Phillip STOMBAUGH, but

QRYTEXT:I would like to correspond with anyone who has information on the families
who inhabited the area of Plum Run, a branch of the Conoccheague River, in the mid
1700s. I am especially interested in the family of John HUNTER (Johanne JAEGER) and
Barbara BOWMAN. They lived there until 1773 and then moved to the Shenandoah Valley
of VA. John HUNTER had ten or eleven children mostly in Va. There are many
descendents of these children and many who know a lot about the family. I think I am
a descendent of John's youngest child, Isaac HUNTER.I need to know more history about
them. Would appreciate any help. Tracy Hunter
