Caskey, 35, Marsh Creek Heights, died at 3:50 o'clock this morning of a heart attack while en route to the Warner hospital in the ambulance. Dr. C. G. Crist, Adams county coroner, pronounced death due to coronary occlusion. Mr. Caskey, a veteran of World War II, who was employed as a cook at the Moose home, had been in his usual health and worked Tuesday, retiring about 9:30 o'clock Tuesday night. He was stricken at 3 a. m. A physician was called and he was being rushed to the hospital, being pronounced dead upon arrival. He was born in York county, a son of Mrs. Isabelle Caskey and the late George Caskey. He served a three-year enlistment in the army before World War II, in the machine gun troop of the Third Cavalry, Ft. Myer. and was on duty at Walter Reed hospital, Washington, D. C., when discharged. He was inducted in June, 1943, and served as a private and ambulance driver in the 428th Medical Collecting company during the war. He trained at Camp Pickett, Va., and Camp Blakeley, Texas, before going overseas in 1944. Mr. Caskey was a member of the Presbyterian church, the Loyal Order of Moose and Albert J. Lentz Post No. 202, the American Legion. He is survived by his wife, the former Irene A. Hilty, to whom he had been married for 11 years; his mother, and these brothers and sisters: Norman Caskey, near Philadelphia; Charles Caskey, Fairfield; Goldie Caskey, Hanover; Mrs. Rosetta Malon, Bentley, La.; Helen Caskey. Gettysburg R. D.; John Caskey, Dillsburg R. D., and Albert Caskey, Atlanta. Ga. Funeral services Saturday morning at 10 o'clock at the Bender funeral home, the Rev. Clyde R.
