Hiram F. Heiges

Hiram F. Heiges, an undertake of Cashtown, Adams county, died August 17th, from 
heart failure and acute indigestion, aged 67 years, 10 months and 6 days.

He is survived by his wife, Ellen C. and one son, Clarence A., of Gettysburg; 
one brother, Aaron M., of near Arendtsville, and one sister, Sara Orr, of 
Harrisburg.

He was a member of Flohr’s Lutheran church and well known and loved by all who 
knew him.  He was the successful undertaker of Franklin township for the past 35 
years and was the tax collector of the same township for the past eight years.
