Mrs. Kate Hoke

Mrs. Kate Hoke, wife of Charles Hoke, residing near East Berlin, in Paradise 
township, died April 20, after suffering for the past three weeks from cancer of 
the liver.  She was aged 48 years, 7 months and 4 days.

She is survived by her husband and the following children:  George Hoke and Mrs. 
Anna Grim, of New Baltimore; Raymond, of Paradise Township, and Tacie, Ivan and 
Mabel, at home.  The following brothers and sisters survive:  Mrs. Anna 
Messersmith, Paradise township; Mrs. Ida Messersmith, York, and Mrs. Ella 
Stough, Admire.  Two step-sisters also survive, Polly Julius and Sarah Eyster of 
Thomasville.
