John Moore Dies Sunday; 129 Survive 
John L, Moore Sr., 81, Gettysburg R. 5, died at the Hanover Hospital Sunday. 
He was a native of Adams county, a son of the late Henry J. and Martha J. (Weaver) Moore. 
His wife, the former Frances Strausbaugh, died in1960. 
Surviving are ten children: George H. Moore, East Berlin R. 2; John L. Moore Jr., New Oxford R. 1; Mrs. Clair E. Shermeyer, Gettysburg R. 5; 
Raymond R. Moore, Hanover R. 4; Mrs. Leo H. Hockensrnith, Gettysburg R. 5; Leo F. Moore, New Oxford R. 2; Mrs. Leo F. Todt, New 
Oxford R. 2; Mrs. Leon Little, Hanover R. 4; Charles J. Moore, New Oxford R. 2; and Karl E. Moore, Hanover R. 2. 
Also surviving are 56 grandchildren and 56 great grandchildren; and seven brothers and sisters: Henry C. Moore, Hanover R.4; Mrs. Martha M. 
Oyler, Gettysburg R. 1; James A. Moore, New Oxford; Mrs. Charlotte Mondorff, Hanover; Pius T. Moore, Hanover R. 4; Mrs. Roger Hertz,  
York; and Lewis E. Moore, Thomasville R. 1. 
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday morning at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Bonneauville, with Rev. Paul T. Rindos 
officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
