All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/adams/ _______________________________________________ WOMAN DIES AT BIGLERVILLE Miss Amanda Mummert, 54, died at the home of her sister, Mrs. Calvin Pensyl, Biglerville, at 5:45 o’clock this morning from complications of diseases. She was a daughter of the late Mathias and Sophia Mummert, and was born near East Berlin. She has been making her home with her sisters for a number of years. In addition to Mrs. Pensyl, she is survived by Mrs. John Deardorff, of Aspers R. D., another sister and a number of nieces and nephews. Miss Mummert was a life long member of Friends’ Grove Church of the Brethren. Funeral services Saturday afternoon, meeting at the Pensyl home at 1:30 o’clock with further services at Mummert’s Meeting House, the Rev. Grant Group officiating.
