John Connelly, aged 76 years, died yesterday, at the home of his son-in-law,
Oscar Lindsay, No. 8 Island avenue, North Side. He was born in Ireland and came
to America when quite young. For many years he had been a resident of the Woods
Run district and was employed in the mills in that section. His wife died three
years ago. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Lindsay and Catherine Webster,
both of Allegheny. He was a member of St. Andrew's Roman Catholic Church. Mr.
Connelly was an uncle of M. J. Connelly, better known as "Buck Cornelius”.
