from The Pittsburgh Press dated Friday, October 25, 1901 (page 12):
 
Harry W FITTON, 25 years old, of 144 Forty-fourth street, was killed
yesterday by a train in the Allegheny Valley railroad yards between
Twenty-ninth and Thirtieth streets. FITTON had been night watchman in
the yards, but owing to the need of men was temporarily put on the
train as brakeman. (under an article titled, Two Brakemen Killed)

Harry W FITTON, about 25 years of age, single, brakeman, died October
24, 1901, railroad accident; son of William and Jane FITTON, both from
England; born in Philadelpha; lived at 142 43rd Street; burial in
South Side Cemetery on October 27, 1901.
