FITTON had been night watchman in the yards, but owing to the need of men was temporarily put on the train as brakeman. (under an article titled, Two Brakemen Killed) from the City of Pittsburgh Death Records: Harry W FITTON, about 25 years of age, single, brakeman, died October 24, 1901, railroad accident; son of William and Jane FITTON, both from England; born in Philadelpha; lived at 142 43rd Street; burial in South Side Cemetery on October 27, 1901.
