Mrs GILL was born in Norwich, Conn., in October 1835. In 1859 she married Mr GILL in Philadelphia and three years later they moved to Pittsburgh and later to their present home. Besides her husband Mrs GILL is survived by six children: William S GILL of Washington, D C; Mrs R H CRAINE of Evergreen; Mrs J F TICKNER, Miss Lou GILL, A J GILL Jr, and Mrs L H DUNCAN, all of Allegheny. She was a prominent member of the Observatory Hill Christian church. from the Allegheny City Death Records: Theresa M GILL, aged 66 years 5 months 4 days, married, died March 10, 1902, of bronchial asthma; daughter of Samuel and Rachael STEEL; born in Norwich, CT; lived at 65 Miller Avenue; burial in Union Dale Cemetery on March 12, 1902. City directory (1902) confirms address as 65 Wilson Avenue, Allegheny. Census records note that her parents were from New Jersey. Husband's name was Alexander J and children are William, Julia (Mrs Robert CRANE), Teresa (Mrs James F TICKNER), Louisa, Alexander, and Rachel (Mrs Lewis Howard DUNCAN).
