GORMLEY, widow of Thomas F. GORMLEY, occurred at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John KRAFT near this place (Bavington) Wednesday morning at 1:15 o'clock, following a short illness. Mrs. GORMLEY suffered a stroke of paralysis September 11 and her condition had been serious since. She was one of the oldest women of this section and had been a lifelong resident of Washington county. She was 85 years old, having been born March 1, 1835. She was united in marriage to Thomas GORMLEY, May 15, 1855. She is survived by the following children: Mrs. John KRAFT, Mrs. E. O. FULLERTON, Mrs. John SCOTT, of the Burgettstown section; Mrs. John LEPER and John GORMLEY of Beaver Falls, Mrs. George WATERSON of Beaver: Mrs. George BURGETT and Leslie GORMLEY, Industry, Pa. Mrs. Amelia WILSON of Coraopolis, and Colonel GORMLEY of New SHEFFIELD. One sister, Mrs. Agnes MARATTA, of Beaver, also survives, together with 32 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held from the KRAFT home this evening at 8 o'clock. Friday the body was taken to the Oak Grove cemetery in Industry township where interment was at 1 o'clock.
