from The Pittsburgh Gazette dated Thursday, August 1, 1895:
 
KENNEDY - On Wednesday morning, July 31, 1895, at 4:15 o'clock, 
Sylvester Bernard, infant son of John E and Carrie J KENNEDY, 
aged 1 year and 15 days.  Funeral from the residence of his 
grandparents, Mr and Mrs M S O'BRIEN, No. 2033 Center av., on 
Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock.  Interment private.

Sylvester Bernard KENNEDY, infant son of John E KENNEDY, of the 
"Leader" composing room, died yesterday at the residence of Mrs 
KENNEDY's father, M S O'BRIEN, 2033 Center avenue.  The funeral 
will take place at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon.
