He was a retired farmer and one of the best known citizens of Pine township, having held a number of township offices and serving for years as a justice of the peace. He was an elder of the Cross Roads Presbyterian church for 40 years. He was born on a farm near where he died. Mr. Logan is survived by his widow, who was Miss Catherine McMartin. The couple were married 46 years ago. Four children were born to them, three of whom survive: Lynn, of Pine township, and W. H. Logan and Mrs. Thomas Beel of Pittsburgh. The funeral will be held from the Logan homestead Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
