Mrs. Catherine Logan, aged 62 years, widow of James Logan, died yesterday at the
residence of her daughter, Mrs. Herman Schulenberg, No. 330 Melwood avenue. Mrs.
Logan was born in Latrobe, Westmoreland county, and was married early in life to
James Logan, who died 18 years ago. She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal
Church, came to Pittsburg 10 years ago, and for the past three years had made
her home with her daughter. She was well known and is survived by two sons, John
and Joseph D. Logan: three daughters, Mrs. Schulenberg, and Miss Myrtle and Miss
Elizabeth Logan, of Pittsburg; a sister in Denver; three half-brothers Samuel,
William and George Harr, of Westmoreland county, and two half sisters, Mrs.
Laura Butler and Mrs. Ida Cogan, of Westmoreland county.
