V., (commonly called Bucktails), who died June 6th, from the effects of a gunshot wound, received in the battle on North Anna river... Died on June 6th, in one of the hospitals in Washington City, from wounds received on the North Anna River, on the 23d of May, David H. Morton, third son of William and Ruth Morton, of Bethel congregation, aged 20 years, 7 months, and 9 days… He was a promising student of Bethel Academy, possessed of more than ordinary talents, and of great application in study...
