All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/allegheny/ ________________________________________________ from The Pittsburg Press dated Monday, December 12, 1898: GATHERED TO REST Alfonzo McMILLAN died at the residence of his sister, Mrs Melissa THOMAS, 5532 Kentucky avenue, East End, at 8:45 this morning. The deceased was the son of Alexander McMILLAN, the well-known horse dealer. Mr McMILLAN had been an invalid for two years and was suffering with paralysis. He was able to be about the house until a few days since, when he suddenly became worse. He leaves a widow and several sisters and brothers. They are William McMILLAN, the commission merchant; Love McMILLAN, keeper of the insane department of the West Penn hospital; James McMILLAN of Cincinnati, and Mrs W G SCHIRMER and Mrs THOMAS, both of the East End. Arrangements for the funeral have not as yet been made.
