The Pittsburgh Post Sat Jan 18 1913 
George V. Nicholas, of Natrona, died yesterday morning in West Penn hospital
after a short illness of pneumonia, following a surgical operation on a
fractured leg, which was injured several months ago by a falling tree. The body
was taken to the home of his son-in-law, John N. Kennedy, 18 Greenwich street,
Natrona, where funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon. Mr. Nicholas
was born in Brady's Bend, Armstrong county, 61 years ago. He leaves two
daughters. Mrs. John N. Kennedy and Miss Maud Nicholas, of Natrona; two sisters,
Mrs. William White, of East Pittsburgh, and Mrs. William McCurdy, of Wilmerding,
and six brothers, Edward, Thomas, William, Robert, David and Charles Nicholas,
all of Allegheny county.
