Mrs. Susanna Penney, aged 76 years, widow of James Penney, at one time treasurer
of the Amalgamated Association of Iron & Steel Workers, died early yesterday
morning at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. H. E. Earley, No. 705 Lamar
avenue. Mrs. Penney was a member of the North Avenue Methodist Episcopal Church,
Wilkinsburg, and leaves six children: William, of Pittsburg; Mrs. Emily Pollard,
of Wilkinsburg; James L. and Mrs. Earley. of Wilkinsburg; Mrs. C. C. Cline, of
Portland, Ore., and John M., of Seattle, Wash. She also leaves a brother, John
Evans, of Sharpsburg; 16 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
