The TRIBUNE'S correspondent at Martinsburg writes as follows: On Friday last a young man traveling along the highway toward Altoona, just this side of Curryville, took sick and entered the house of Jacob Law, a well-to-do farmer in North Woodbury township. The young man suffered intense pain from what appeared to be cramp until Sunday morning, when Dr. Bonebreak was called in. Upon examination it was discovered that he was suffering from inflammation of the bowels. Mr. Law and family acted well the part of the good Samaritan and are deserving of the highest praise. He lingered until 1 o'clock this (Tuesday) morning when death relieved him of his sufferings. It was learned from the young man that his name was Ephriam McGinley and that his parents reside at Hopewell, Bedford county. He worked some time ago at Behm's hotel in Altoona, took sick and went home. Becoming convalescent he was able to be out, when his father compelled him to seek shelter elsewhere, and the young man started for McKee, where he expected to remain a few days with some friends or relatives. He was 28 years of age. A dispatch just received from Hopewell informs us that the friends of Mr. Ginley [sic] are on the way to remove the remains to his home, where the interment will take place.
