MRS. ROSANNA RICE

Rosanna, or grandmother Rice, as she was called by everyone, departed from this 
life April 14, 1921.  Had she lived till July, she would have been ninety-one 
years of age.  She was a loyal and faithful member of the German Seventh Day 
Baptist church for quite a number of years.  She was the wife of Samuel Rice, 
who preceded her to the grave many years ago.  One son, Samuel, was born to this 
union, who also preceeded (sic) her to the grave about seven years ago.  She is 
survived by her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Matilda Rice, eight grandchildren, a 
number of great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.  Funeral 
services were conducted by her pastor, Rev. Jeremiah Fyock, assisted by Rev. W. 
K. Bechtel, on Monday forenoon.  Interment was made in the cemetery near by.
