Sanderson died at the Nason sanitarium on Saturday last aged 52 years and 8 months. Mr. Sanderson was weighmaster of the Broad Top railroad at Saxton during the past twenty years. About a month ago his health gave away. He came to the Nason sanitarium on last Tuesday. He was apparently improving during the short stay there, but on Saturday he died of heart failure. His remains were taken to Saxton and were laid to rest in the cemetery there. Mr. Sanderson was born near New Bloomfield, Perry county, Pa. He was an upright, pious Christian, beloved by everybody. He was a member of the Lutheran church at Saxton. He leaves a widow and seven children. He was a brother of T. C. Sanderson. His pastor, Rev. Mr. English, preached his funeral sermon.
