  Mr. Charles Pote, of Baker's Summit, Bedford County, and Miss Ellie 
Wertz, of Bedford, were united in marriage on the 9th inst.  Mr. Pote 
is a young man of sterling qualities, a successful business man.  His 
bride is one of the best and handsomest of Bedford county's good women.  
We predict for them a bright and prosperous future.
