Gold to John M. Robison This Indenture made the eighth day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and two between James A. Gold single of Frankstown Township Blair County, Pennsylvania, party of the first part and John M. Robison of the borough of Hollidaysburg, County and state aforesaid party of the second part. Witnesseth, That the said party of the first part, for and in consideration of the sum of One hundred (100) dollars, lawful money of the United States of America, unto him well and truly paid, by the said party of the second part, at or before the sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, have granted, bargained, sold aliened, enfeoffed, released, conveyed and confirmed, and by these presents does grant, bargain, sell, alien, enfeoff, release, convey and confirm, unto the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns forever, All my right, title, and interest, being an undivided one fourth, in and to a certain tract of land, lying and situate on the north side of the Hollidaysburg and Huntingdon Turnpike in the village of Frankstown, Frankstown Township, Blair County, Pennsylvania, being bounded on the west by an alley, on the East by land of Harry Merritts, formerly Burns heirs, on the North by Samuel Rhodes, formerly William P. Switte, and having thereon erected a two story frame dwelling house, frame barn, and necessary out buildings. Being the same premises which James Gold dies seized of on the 11th day of March 1896, leaving to survive him his widow, Elizabeth Gold, and the following children, Mary intermarried with Harry Burkholder, Alice B. Reed, widow, Amanda intermarried with John M. Robison, and James Gold, the grantor herein. This conveyance being subject to the widows dower. Being the same premises, a portion of which were [sic] conveyed to the said James Gold to Daniel Hileman and wife and Stephen Hammond and wife, by deed dated the 25th day of August A. D. 1842 to be recorded and Alexander Holliday and Dorcas, his wife to James Gold, by deed dated the 18th day of December A. D. 1848. Together with all and singular the buildings improvements, ways, waters, water courses, frights, liberties, privileges, hereditaments, and appurtenances whatsoever thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining, and the reversions and remainders, rents, issues, and profits thereof; and all the estate, right title, interest, property claim and demand whatsoever of the said party of the first part, in law, equity, or otherwise howsoever, of, in and to the same and every part thereof: To have and to hold the said Tract of land improvements hereditaments and premises hereby granted, or mentioned and intended so to be, with the appurtenances, unto the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, to and for the only proper use and behoof of the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns forever And James Gold, single the said party of the first part, his heirs, executors and administrators, do by these presents, covenant, grant, and agree, to and with the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, that he the said party of the first part, his heirs, all and singular the hereditaments and premises herein above described and granted, or mentioned and intended so to be with the appurtenances, unto the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, against the said party of the first part, and his heirs, and against all and every other person or persons whomsoever, lawfully claiming or to claim the same of any part thereof, Shall and will warrant and forever defend.
