L. Holliday et ux to James Gould This Indenture made the first day of December AD eighteen hundred and forty eight between A. L. Holliday of Blair County & state of Pennsylvania and Dorcas his wife of the one part and James Gould of the same county and state of the other part. Witnesseth that the said A. L. Holliday and Dorcas his wife for and in consideration of the sum of Twenty eight dollars to them in hand paid by the said James Gould at and before the sealing and delivery hereof, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, have and by these presents do grant bargain sell release convey & confirm unto the said James Gold and to his heirs and assigns all the estate right title and interest property, claim and demand whatsoever of them the said A. L. Holliday and Dorcas his wife in law equity or otherwise of in, or to within described lot of ground situate in Frankstown in the County and state aforesaid conveyed to the said A. L. Holliday by the within deed. To have and to hold all the estate right title, interest property claim and demand of them the said A. L. Holliday & Dorcas his wife of in to or out of the said within described premises to the said James Gould to and for the only proper use and behoof of the same James Gould, his heirs and assigns forever. In testimony whereof the parties have here unto set their hands and seals the said 1st day of December AD 1848. A. L. Holliday Dorcas Holliday Signed Sealed & delivered in the presence of John Cox David Denlinger Received Dec. 1, 1848 from James Gould Twenty eight Dollars the consideration money in full of the above Indenture. Holiday and Dorcas his wife grantors above named and acknowledged the above Indenture to be their act & deed and desired it might be recorded as such according to law. She the said Dorcas being of full age and by us first examined separate and apart from her said husband & the contents thereof being first made known to her, declared that she did voluntarily & of her own free will and accord sign and as her act & deed, deliver the above Indenture without any coercion or compulsion whatsoever of her said husband. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal the 1st day of December AD 1848.
