All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/blair/ _________________________________________ Lot in Duncansville, Blair County, PA Written: March 15, 1852 Blair County Will Book C page 526 Deed John Stiffler and wife to Simon Stover This Indenture made the fifteenth day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty two between John Stiffler of Claysburgh, Blair county and state of Pennsylvania and Catherine his wife of the one part and Simon Stover of Duncansville county and state aforesaid of the other part. Witnesseth that the said John Stiffler and Catherine his wife for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred dollars to them in hand paid by the said Simon Stover at and before the unsealing and delivery hereof the receipt whereof the (blank in document) do hereby acknowledge and thereof acquit and forever discharge the said Simon Stover his heirs executors administrators. Have granted bargained sold aliened enfeoffed released and confirmed and by these presents do grant bargain sell alien enfeoff release and confirm unto the said Simon Stover his heirs and assigns all that lot of ground situate in the town of Duncansville Blair county situate on the north side of turnpike road fronting on said road sixty feet running back at right angles one hundred & eighty feet bounded on the west by lot of James Ross on the north by D. B. Gibboney on the east by other lot of the said Stiffler part thereof being conveyed by Samuel Duncan and wife to Doctor Samuel Anderson thence from Anderson and wife to Alen Burd and Mary his wife thence from A Burd and wife to Joseph Jones and wife thence by deed of Jones and wife to John Stiffler and Catherine his wife and part thereof being a part of tract of land conveyed by due course of law to Willis Gibboney thence to Daniel C. Gibboney and wife thence by deed of D. C. Gibboney and wife to John Stiffler and Catherine his wife by relations thereunto being had will more fully appear. Together with all and singular the improvements rights liberties privileges hereditaments and appurtenances whatsoever thereunto belong on in anywise appertaining and the rents remainders and issues and profits thereof and also all the estate whatsoever of them the said John Stiffler and Catherine his wife in law equity or otherwise howsoever of in to or out of the same To Have and to Hold the said described lot of ground hereditaments and premises hereby granted and mentioned and intended to be with the appurtenances unto the said Simon Stover his heirs and assigns to and for the only proper use and behoof of the said Simon Stover his heirs and assigns that they the said John Stiffler and Catherine his wife their heirs all and singular the hereditaments here above described or mentioned or intended so to be with the appurtenances unto the said Simon Stover his heirs and assigns them the said John Stiffler and Catherine his wife and their heirs and against all and every other person or persons lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof shall and will warrant and forever defend.
