JACOB AYERS

Died at the home of Mr. David S. Woomer, 2525 Maple avenue, this morning at 
11 o'clock, aged 79 years, and 6 months.  Mr. Ayers was one of the pioneer 
residents of Altoona, having lived her for a number of years.  He had been 
ill for a long while, his death being caused by diseases incident to old 
age.  Of his eight surviving children, two live in Altoona.  They are: Mrs. 
David S. Woomer and Harry Ayers.  Interment will probably be made at Bald 
Eagle on Monday.
