BARGER

  Mrs. Amanda Elmira Barger died at the home of her son, John R. 
Barger, 306 Spruce avenue, at 5.30 o'clock yesterday afternoon of 
pneumonia, superinduced by influenza.  Mrs. Barger was born at Easton, 
July 9, 1848 and in 1872 was married to Edward A. Barger, who, with two 
children, survives.  She was a member of the Grace Methodist Episcopal 
church.  Funeral services will be held from the home of her daughter, 
Emma, 1007 Chestnut avenue, tomorrow.  Burial will be made in Rose Hill 
cemetery.
