Barnard, widow of Thomas Barnard, died at 3.10 o'clock Sunday morning, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. James Rowan, 108 Second street, of a complication of diseases, aged 81 years, 8 months and 13 days. Her husband died 44 years ago. She was born in Mifflin county, near Mount Union, and was the daughter of Christian and Hanna Wall.* She is survived by one son, W. S. Barnard, of Roselawn and four daughters, Mrs. Geo. Cramer, Youngstown, O.; Mrs. James Rowan, Altoona; Mrs. Austin Moore, Colver, and Mrs. Port Mackey, Altoona. Twenty-one grand children and eleven great-grandchildren also survive. One sister, Mrs. Emanuel Flood of Shade Gap, also survives. She was a member of the Second Presbyterian church. Funeral services of Mrs. Mary C. Barnard will be held at the home of her daughter, Mrs. James Rowan, 108 Second street, tomorrow afternoon, at 3 o'clock.
