Death of a Little Girl.

  On Wednesday last that dread enemy of the nursery, scarlet fever, 
made its appearance in the household of Mr. John M. Bartley, residing 
on Fourth avenue between Fifteenth and Sixteenth streets, and on 
Saturday morning carried off his little 6-year-old daughter.  In their 
affliction the family have the sympathy of many friends.
