JOHN MILFORD BECHTOL

Died at his home in Bellwood Saturday night at 10.50 o'clock of coronary 
thrombosis after an illness of one week.  He was born March 12, 1880, at 
Green Burr, Clinton county, the son of Ira and Lydia (Rowe) Bechtol and was 
married Oct. 24, 1906, at Bellwood to Birdie Domer.  Mr. Bechtol had lived in 
this vicinity since 1901.  Surviving are his wife, one son, Roy M., and two 
grandchildren, Judith Ann and Susan Carol Bechtol, all of Washington.  Mr. 
Bechtol was a member of the Grace Lutheran church of Bellwood, the church 
council and the Knights of the Maccabees of Bellwood.  He retired as a 
Pennsylvania railroad machinist after 46 years' service.  Friends will be 
received at the home.
