DEATH RECORD.

  Mrs. Elizabeth Berkheimer, wife of Jacob Berkheimer, died at the residence 
of her son, Thomas Berkheimer, 126 Howard avenue, at 1.30 yesterday morning, 
aged 80 years, 2 months and 16 days.  Death was due to diseases incident to 
old age.  She is survived by the following children: W. M., of Huntingdon, W. 
Va.; Mrs. Anna M. Cogan, Samuel S., Mrs. Ellen Young and Thomas G., all of 
Altoona.  One sister, Mrs. Annie Markley, of this city, also survives.  Mrs. 
Berkheimer was a member of the United Brethren church for sixty years, and had 
been connected with the First church ever since its organization.  The funeral 
will take place Saturday afternoon at 2.  The services will be conducted at 
the church by Rev. W. W. Williamson, and interment will be made in Fairview 
cemetery.
