Blackburn died at the family home, 508 Second street, this morning, following a lingering illness, suffering from a complication of diseases. She was born at Spruce Creek in 1856, being a resident of this city for many years. Her husband died five years ago with one daughter, Mrs. Elmer Webb dying in this city three years ago. She was a member of the Memorial Baptist church. Surviving are the following children: Mrs. Helen Powers of Philadelphia, Mrs. G. B. Woody of Wilkes-Barre, Mrs. G. A. Eberle at home, Mrs. John Ulrich and Harry H. Blackburn of Altoona. Also by the following sisters: Mrs. Nellie Stahl of Philadelphia; Mrs. Edward Feathers, Mrs. W. H. Brandt, Miss Venie Hauser and Mrs. John Henry Lape all of this city. The remains can be viewed at the family home any time after 6 o'clock Wednesday evening. The funeral will be private being held from the home on Friday afternoon. Interment will be private in Rose Hill cemetery. Altoona Mirror, Altoona, Pa., Tuesday, February 5, 1924 FUNERAL NOTICE. The funeral of Mrs. Ida Mae Blackburn of 507 Second street will be held on Friday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock at the house, with services in charge of Rev. Irvine of the Memorial Baptist church. Services will be private. Interment will be private in Rose Hill cemetery. Mrs. Blackburn is the widow of former Coroner W. T. Blackburn who died two years ago.
