Carrie May Bonsell

  Carrie May Bonsell of Tyrone R.D.4, Thomastown, died at 7 p.m., 
Sunday, February 11, 1973, in Tyrone Hospital, having been a patient 
for ten days.  She was born October 5, 1885, at Tyrone, a daughter of 
William and Amelia (Saylor) Gunsallus and in May, 1903, at the groom's 
home in Tyrone, Pennsylvania, she married George Washington Bonsell, 
who died August 28, 1945.  Surviving are six sons and daughters, Harry, 
of South Rockwood, Michigan; Frank of Altoona; Clarence, of Tyrone; 
Mrs. Amelia McFarland of Michigan City, Indiana, and Mrs. Caroline 
Miller and George of Thomastown, Tyrone; 24 grandchildren and 35 great 
grandchildren.  A young daughter, Dorothy, proceeded her in death in 
1909.
