HOLLIDAYSBURG HAPPENINGS.

  An old and well known resident of this place, Mr. Charles Brant, died 
at his home yesterday afternoon, about one o'clock, of heart disease, 
from which he had been a sufferer for the past three months.  He was a 
native of Germany, about 63 years of age, and had been a resident of 
Hollidaysburg for thirty-five years.  The funeral will occur on 
Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock.  The services will be held in the 
Lutheran church of which he was a member for many years.  Rev. T. F. 
Reeser will officiate.
