At 5:30 o'clock yesterday morning Mrs. Anna M., wife of Christian Brennecke, died at her home, No. 523 Eighth avenue, after months of sickness and suffering. Mrs. Brennecke was born in Prussia, April 20, 1830, and was therefore 61 years, 8 months and 13 days of age at the time of her death. In addition to her husband she is survived by seven children. These are: Misses Jennie R., Lizzie and Anna M., residing at the family residence; William C. Brennecke, proprietor of the White Hall hotel, of Altoona; Mrs. F. C. Gerhardt, Mrs. F. J. Obermyer and Mrs. T. C. O'Neil, also of this city. She is also survived by three brothers and two sisters, who are A. U. and G. Selwitz and Mrs. C. Coltabaugh, of Carson Valley; Mrs. Fred Solomon, of Kansas, and Charles Selwitz, of Houtzdale. The funeral services will be held at the late residence of the deceased on Tuesday afternoon, beginning at 2 o'clock. They will be conducted by Rev. John Mueller, pastor of the German Lutheran church, of which she was a member. At 2:45 o'clock the cortege will proceed to Fairview cemetery, where the interment will take place.
