ALVIN G. BRUMBAUGH

Of 111 Bell avenue died at the Altoona Veterans Administration hospital at 
6.25 o'clock Saturday evening.  He was born Aug. 28, 1888, at Woodbury, the 
son of George N. and Mary Anna (Gates) Brumbaugh and worked as a machinist in 
the miscellaneous shop, Altoona works.  He was a veteran of Word war I, 
having served in the army.  Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Ida Heverly of 
Philadelphia and Mrs. Effie Tipton of Altoona.  Mr. Brumbaugh was a member of 
the First Church of the Brethren.  Friends are being received at the Myers 
funeral home.
