MISS MARY E. BURNS.

  Miss Mary E. Burns, of 2909 Spruce avenue, died at 9:15 o'clock Friday night 
of Bright's disease, aged 52 years.  Deceased was born at Martinsburg, W.Va., 
and has been for twenty-five years a resident of the city.  She is survived by 
one sister, Martha Burris of Virginia.  Funeral will take place from the 
Sixteenth Street A.M.E. church this afternoon at 2 o'clock followed by interment 
at Oak Ridge cemetery.
