Daugherty, 849 Seventeenth street, well known grocer, died at his home at 2 a.m. Saturday, of a heart ailment following an extended illness. He was born December 15, 1863, in Altoona. He resided in Altoona during his entire life. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Ada Daugherty; one son, George; two daughters, Mrs. Edna Fornwalt and Miss Elmina Daugherty; one step-son, Frank Walters; one sister, Mrs. Annie S. Crider; one half-brother, F. J. Holtzman, Wilmore, and five grand-children. He was a member of the First Lutheran Church. The body has been removed to the Stevens mortuary where it may be viewed at any time prior to the funeral. Funeral services will be conducted in Stevens Mortuary at 2:30 p.m. today incharge [sic] of the Rev. Dr. Marion Justice Kline, pastor of the First Lutheran church.
