ERNEST P. DAVY

Of 429 Seventh avenue, employed as a machinist in the East Altoona
roundhouse, died at his home at 1:45 o'clock yesterday afternoon after
three months' illness.  He was born at New Castle on Nov. 18, 1890.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Cecelia (Sookberger)? Davy; two sons, John
and Stephen, at home; two sisters and one brother, Mrs. Catherine
Graybill of Philadelphia, Mrs. Sarah Fortune of Asheville, N. C., and
John Davy of Chicago, Ill.  Mr. Davy was a member of the Lutheran church
and the White Cross lodge, Knights of Pythias. The body may be viewed at
the home where funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Thursday
afternoon.  Interment will be made in the Presbyterian cemetery,
Hollidaysburg.
